As of February 2025, Digital River has ceased doing business and can no longer provide reselling and payment services for Adobe. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Why isn’t my Creative Cloud or Document Cloud subscription renewing?

Will my cloud documents, files, and assets be lost?

If you purchase a new plan on Adobe.com with the same Adobe ID, you'll not lose any cloud documents, files, or assets. However, if you don't plan to purchase a new subscription, it's important to download all of your cloud documents, files, and assets ahead of the renewal date to avoid any loss.

Your Creative Cloud files are stored on your desktop and the Creative Cloud servers. If you cancel or downgrade your paid membership, you still retain access to all the files in the Creative Cloud folder on your computer and via the Creative Cloud website.

If you don't plan to renew your subscription, your account will be downgraded to a free membership, which includes 2 GB of storage. If you’re using more than 2 GB of storage, you won't be able to upload new files to the cloud. To upload new files, delete files on the Creative Cloud server until the amount of storage you're using drops below 2 GB.

If you're over your storage limit, you have 30 days to reduce your online usage. After 30 days, you could lose access to some or all of your files saved on the Creative Cloud servers.

Why can’t I access Adobe Store in my Adobe account?

The Adobe Store link is no longer available through Digital River, which is why you may encounter a 404 error page. For any issues related to billing or plans, contact Adobe customer support for assistance.

Why can't I get an invoice for my purchase?

Digital River, a formerly authorized Adobe reseller, has ceased doing business and can no longer resell Adobe offerings. As Digital River was a reseller, Adobe is unable to provide invoices for purchases made through Digital River. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Why can't I get a refund for my purchase?

Due to Digital River ceasing operations, Digital River is no longer processing refunds for purchases made through them. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

What should I do if I need an invoice for tax or accounting purposes?

We understand the importance of having an invoice. Since your invoice came from a formerly authorized Adobe reseller, Digital River, and not from Adobe, Adobe cannot provide the original invoice. We can suggest using your purchase confirmation email or transaction receipt as a temporary substitute, but please speak with a tax or accounting specialist. Your confirmation email should contain essential details such as the purchase date, amount, and product information.
